CITY OF
After leaving the love of his life in Sunnydale, Angel finds himself in the City of Angels. He just wants to be left alone - but a new friend, Doyle - is his connection to the Powers That Be - and it's now Angel's job to fight for goodness and save the innocent. His first case is to save a woman named Tina from a ruthless man named Russell. After Tina sees what Angel really is - she runs off - and is confronted with Russell. Angel couldn't save Tina - but maybe he can save Russell's new target - Cordelia.

LONELY HEARTS
Doyle's new vision steers Angel toward a parasitic demon who feeds on lonely singles at a nightclub, looking for the perfect body to occupy. Angel meets Kate Lockely - a seemingly lonely woman in the nightclub - she turns out to be a detective and thinks Angel is responsible for all the recent murders. When she learns the truth they must work together to stop the demon. Cordelia tries to help Angel boost business while he's on the case in the nightclubs by passing out business cards to everyone.

IN THE DARK
Spike follows Oz to the City of Angels - on a mission to give Angel the Gem of Amarra. Spike kidnaps Angel and tortures him - wanting him to give up the whereabouts of the ring - which Angel won't do. He finally gets Cordelia and Doyle to bring the ring to him - but his assistant steals the ring - and he leaves LA - leaving Angel to clean up his mess - which he does and after defeating the assistant - he gets to take a nice walk in the sun. Angel knows that the ring is dangerous - he decides to destroy it.

I FALL TO PIECES
Angel is protecting a woman from a doctor who she went out with only once - and won't stop calling her. He's been stalking her at her office - home and now Angel's. Angel finds that protecting her from the evil doctor is a little harder than he expected - since the doctor can disassemble at will. The doctor attacks at Angel Investigations but since he can undo his body - he's attacking at many different places at once.

RM W/ A VU
Cordelia's apartment has been overrun by roaches and she's started sleeping at Angel's. Doyle offers to help her look for a place - but she wants to stick to the newspaper ads - when she finally agrees to go with Doyle's Guy, they find the perfect apartment and she moves in right away. Cordelia soon finds out why the apartment is so cheap - it is haunted by a nasty old ghost that imprisoned her son in the walls of the apartment.

SENSE AND SENSITIVITY
After Kate ruffs up a mob guy - the department is forced to go into Sensitivity training. Looking for a little payback - the mob guy has his lawyer (Wolfram & Heart) send someone to make the training a bit more interesting. The teacher of the class uses a magically enhanced talking stick - and the police department starts to overflow with emotions - making it very easy for the mob guy to escape.

THE BACHELOR PARTY
After Doyle saves her from a vampire attack - Cordelia begins to wonder if he might be a good guy to date - that is until his wife shows up. Doyle's long estranged wife - Harry - has come to town looking for a divorce and has brought along her new finance - another demon. Trying to be nice to Doyle - Richard invites Doyle to his Bachelor Party. Things don't turn out as planned when the new guy has to fulfill his demon custom of eating the previous husbands brains.

I WILL REMEMBER YOU
After Buffy storms into LA - upset that Angel never showed himself to her during his recent visit - they are attacked by a demon whose blood causes Angel to become human. After experiencing pure bliss with Buffy - he asks the Oracles to turn back the hands of time because he is a danger to her - and everyone he's supposed to help.

HERO
The demon world's version of Hitler's Army has come Los Angles with plans of killing all impure demons. The Scourge have built a device that will burn any creature that isn't pure demon - that includes humans - and vampires. Angel goes undercover with the Scure - saying he hates his kind - but it's not enough to stop them from using the machine. Doyle makes the ultimate sacrifice (his life) to save the demons, Angel and Cordelia.

PARTING GIFTS
After Doyle's death - Angel and Cordelia are trying to cope with their grief. Cordelia goes on an acting job for a National commercial and receives her first vision. She soon realizes that her first and last kiss with Doyle transferred his mind numbing visions. Meanwhile - empath Barney comes to Angel for help. He's being hunted by rogue demon hunter - Wesley Wyndam Price. Barney is not as innocent as he appears - he kidnaps Cordelia with the intention of selling her eyeballs to the highest bidder.

SOMNABULIST
Angel begins having horrifying dreams of brutal murders and he can't be sure that he's not committing them in his sleep. It turns out that Angel isn't involved - in a way - Angel's vampire prodigy, Penn has come to LA to recreate the crimes of his past- and to get some vengeance on his father - Angel. Kate begins to investigate the recent string of murders and comes face to face with Penn - and sees his true face.

EXPECTING
Cordelia goes out on the town with a few friends and takes a very cute man home with her - he's nice, polite and charming - but Phantom Dennis doesn't like him - and with good reason. After their night of passion - Cordelia wakes up alone - and 9 months pregnant. Angel finds out that nice young man Cordelia went out with has impregnated her with demon spawn - and she's going to deliver very soon.

SHE
Angel is investigating the death of a man that was melted. He finds that the culprit is a princess from another dimension who has the power to melt things - and make men extremely warm to her touch. She has come to this dimension to bring other woman from her home to be safe and free from the men that rule her home dimension. Angel must help her save the women from her planet - if he can keep his cool long enough.

I'VE GOT YOU UNDER MY SKIN
Angel goes to the aid of a family whose son has been possessed by a very powerful demon. The demon uses the gang of Angel Investigations weakness against them. When the demon is expelled from the boy - they track it down and realize it wasn't the boy crying for help - it was the demon - he was trapped inside the boy - who has no sense of right or wrong and is back with his family - and a can of gas and a book of matches.

THE PRODIGAL
In a series of flashbacks young Liam (Angel) deals with his overbearing father. The relationship between Angel and his father was very strained and Angel makes sure that his father is one of the first to pay when he rises as Angelus. In the present, Angel is trying to find out what Kate's father is up to - but he doesn't learn that her father is in danger until it is too late - and her father is killed by vampires. Kate blames Angel - and tells him to stay away from her.

THE RING
When a rich man comes to Angel Investigations - he hires them to help him find his brother. Angel beings to track down the brother - but is kidnapped and thrown into a cell - where he soon must begin fighting for his freedom - by killing other demons in an underground fighting ring - where only the rich come out to watch and bet - and it's run by Angel's newest client.

ETERNITY
When Angel saves the life a big television star - she asks him to be her new bodyguard. Turns out she's being stalked and could use a little extra protection. When saving her life again - she sees what Angel really is. She decides to give Angel slip some perfect bliss drugs to make him relax and place his immortal kiss on her. Little does she know that when Angel has reached perfect bliss - he turns a bit evil.

FIVE BY FIVE
After fleeing Sunnydale and Buffy, Faith comes to LA to cause a little damage and is quickly hired by Wolfram & heart to kill Angel. She finds the task not only fun - but she's going to get paid for it as well! She doesn't think Angel's head is in the game - so she kidnaps Wesley - and tortures him until Angel shows. During her final fight with Angel, Faith breaks down - wanting him to kill her because she's evil. He refuses opting instead to help her get back on the right path.

SANCTUARY
Buffy comes to LA looking for a little payback on Faith and her body switching caper - but all she finds is Angel protecting her. After failing her mission, Wolfram & Heart send demons to kill Angel and Faith. The Watcher's Council has also found her and want to take her back to England for her punishment - Faith surprises everyone and turns herself in begins to serve a prison term for the murders that she committed.

WAR ZONE
Angel is hired by a nerdy - Dungeons & Dragons playing billionaire to find out who is blackmailing him with pictures of him and his naughty demon hookers. While on assignment Angel is confronted by a group of young kids protecting their neighbor from vampires - led by Charles Gunn. After Gunn's sister is vamped - Angel kills the leader of the gang of vamps - and earns Gunn's trust. Angel lets Gunn know he'll be around - not to help him - like Gunn thinks - but because Angel might need Gunn's help someday.

BLIND DATE
Lindsey has had an attack of conscious when the firm decides to kill a bunch of blind children that will grow up to be seers. They send a blind killer after them - and Lindsey works with Angel to save the children. In order to ensure his life - Lindsey and Angel break into Wolfram & Heart and steal some very important files - and Angel takes a scroll that will tell his future - even though he doesn't know why he took it.

TO SHANSHU IN LA
Angel finds out that his destiny includes become mortal - just has Cordelia is blinded with never ending visions and Wesley is nearly killed when the building explodes. Wolfram & Heart use the same scrolls that Angel read to bring back the one thing that could destroy Angel - Darla. In the process Lindsey gets his hand cut off by Angel.

JUDGEMENT
After a case of mistaken identity leads Angel to slay the demon protector of an innocent girl, karaoke is the only way to make things right. Meanwhile, Angel struggles with the discovery that he may not always be eternal and Darla recovers from her resurrection.

ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
Angel directs Cordelia and Wesley to investigate the mysteriously abandoned Hyperion Hotel, and as they piece together the building's dark history, they discover that his interest is more personal than he let on. In a flashback to 1952, Angel is not the atoning vampire of present day, but a recluse who is detached from the tortured humans around him, until one fateful day.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
When Cordelia has a particularly disturbing vision of Gunn in grave danger, she elects herself as his new protector. When she discovers that he may be his own worst enemy, she has to face the fact that she can't save him against his will.

UNTOUCHED
Angel unwittingly crosses paths with Wolfram and Hart when he comes to the aid of a young woman, Bethany , who possesses telekinetic powers far beyond her control. No stranger to losing control, Angel takes her in and tries to help her deal with her gifts. However, Angel is distracted. He has no idea that his sleep has been fitful because of the influence of a daytime visitor.

DEAR BOY
Angel's continued restless nights send him into dreams of 1860 London and his first encounter with Drusilla, but when he sees Darla in his waking life, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn fear he has gone off the deep end and may revert to his evil ways.

GUISE WILL BE GUISE
Angel travels to a mystical swami to help him understand his haunting dreams and to find his path again, but while he is away Wesley assumes Angel's identity to try to save a young girl and rather enjoys playing the role of a vampire with a soul.

DARLA
Angel is desperate to rescue Darla from the clutches of Wolfram & Hart and flashbacks reveal what a dangerous and powerful relationship they shared as history weirdly seems to be repeating itself. The trip down memory lane begins with Darla being sired by the Master and ends with the gang of Spike, Drusilla, Darla and Angel being torn apart when Angel is cursed with a soul.

THE SHROUD OF RAHMON
When Angel and the gang find out that there is going to be a robbery at a museum Angel and Gunn pose as members that are going to be involved in the robbery. But when the shroud the robbers are trying to steal turns out to have mind-altering effects can Angel and Gunn keep the shroud from falling into the wrong hands before they lose their minds?

THE TRIAL
Angel is still haunted by memories of his 150-year relationship with Darla and asks Gunn to help him track her down. He soon discovers, however, that he is faced with an impossible choice: watch her die from a terminal illness or "save" her by turning her once again into a soulless monster.

REUNION
Drusilla has turned Darla back into a vampire, and Angel must catch them before she rises again and the two go back to their old ways. As he becomes more and more frantic, Angel begins to go off the deep end, and his staff worries that they are the only thing standing between Angel and real darkness.

REDEFINITION
After firing his staff and cutting himself off from all help, Angel begins intense physical and mental training to become strong enough to stop Darla and Drusilla before they destroy the City of Angels. Meanwhile, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn try to continue the fight for the innocent on their own now that Angel's gone commando.

BLOOD MONEY
Angel threatens to expose Wolfram & Hart's criminal activities when he discovers that they are stealing large contributions that were made to a teen shelter but an old adversary has other plans for Angel.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
Angel and the Host search for a physicist they fear will cause the end of the world---and who unknowingly has help from two apocalypse-lovin' Lubber demons. Wesley, Cordelia and Gunn settle into their new digs, where Virginia brings them their first official case.

THE THIN DEAD LINE
Angel investigates rumors of renegade cops out for blood, while Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn carry out their own fact-finding mission that results Wesley being seriously wounded by a police gunshot.

REPRISE
Angel learns of the impending visit of Wolfram & Hart's "senior partner," an evil and merciless demon from hell, and he plans a kamikaze mission to destroy the powerful beast that will sacrifice his own life in the process.

EPIPHANY
After an empty night of passion with Darla, Angel surprisingly wakes up with his soul still intact and has an epiphany. His moment of clarity brings him back to the land of the living and while he tries to reunite with his crew, Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn aren't ready to forgive him, even when their very lives are at stake.

DISHARMONY
Angel Investigations may be together again, but that doesn't mean the family is ready to add a new sister. While the crew tracks down a cult of vampires led by a former motivational speaker with a wicked pyramid scheme, Cordelia gets a surprise visit from her old high-school buddy Harmony. Unaware her flaky pal's a bloodsucker, Cordy mistakes Harm's strange behavior for lesbianis--until the truth comes out, so to speak, in a call to Willow. Much to the dismay of her co-workers, the ever loyal Cordelia resolves to give her undead friend a chance at fighting for the good guys.

DEAD END
The search for a man Cordelia saw in a vision stabbing his own eye leads the gang's path to cross with Lindsey'--whose new right hand seems to have a life of its own. Back at Wolfram & Hart, Lilah fumes and frets over the extra attention that her partner's receiving. Cordy begins suffering from continuously bad and painful visions. The trauma afflicting Cordy puts one of the gang in intense worry-mode.

BELONGING
Angel and his crew must find a way to kill a bloodthirsty demon who has arrived in town from another dimension through a mysterious, magical portal in the karaoke bar. With the help of Cordelia's visions, they are able to locate someone who can help destroy the snarly beast; however, when it's time to return their source to his home dimension, Cordelia discovers a whole new world.

OVER THE RAINBOW
After being inadvertently sucked into a dimensional portal, Cordelia finds herself stuck in the Host's home world, Pylea, a place where human beings aren't exactly treated as such. While Cordy struggles to endure the hardships of otherworldly existence - which include being treated as a slave and referred to as "cow" - Angel, Wesley, the Host and Gunn work on how to get her back. They decide that the only acceptable, but nonetheless risky, plan is to go to Pylea themselves. Of course, the only way to get there is to first locate another functional portal. And the Host is none too excited about the idea of a homecoming.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
Angel and friends work overtime to survive in a foreign dimension. Cordelia discovers her dirty duty as Princess of Pylea is to mate with a creature called the Groosalugg. She's unable to escape the palace with Wesley and Gunn, and the priests keeping watch over her also prove to be less than trustworthy. Meanwhile, Angel gets himself into trouble with the Host's family when he refuses to kill a human woman who went missing from L.A. years before.

THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE PLRTZ GLRB
Angel struggles with the inner beast that the demon dimension brings out in him, while Cordelia learns that her role as princess involves mating with a demon, and Wesley and Gunn band with rebel forces to overthrow the government and Her Majesty. The Host loses his head--literally--but as long as his body stays intact, the head lives on. It's up to Cordelia to save him while Angel calls upon Fred to help rescue everyone so they can all go home. They all return home triumphantly, only to be met by a grieving Willow...

HEARTTHROB
On a routine patrol, Angel stakes a female vampire he recognizes from his past, but a moment too late. Her grief-stricken lover, Angels old fighting buddy, is out for revenge for the present killing and a betrayal Angelus committed over 200 years ago.

THAT VISION THING
Cordelia's already painful visions start to have more serious physical side effects. Through telepathy, the Host attempts to track down why The-PowerThat-Be see fit to harm her. Meanwhile, the tenacious, Angel-hating servants of evil (lawyers at Wolfram & Hart) rear their ugly heads yet again. It turns out that they are using a telepath to cause the physical effects of Cordy’s visions. The evil Lawyers need Angel to free someone from a Hell Dimension and they are using Cordy as insurance.

THAT OLD GANG OF MINE
Gunn finds himself stuck between old and new allegiances when he learns that a string of brutal and indiscriminate demon murders is the work of members of his former gang. Even the Host's usually peaceful club isn't immune to the violence. Cordelia, meanwhile, attempts to help Fred readjust to the world.

CARPE NOCTEM
An old man casts a body-switching spell on Angel, and the old man enjoys the many pleasures of being eternally young, handsome and bloodthirsty in Los Angeles while a dying Angel tries to get his body back. At the end of this episode we learn that Buffy is alive.

FREDLESS
Fred's parents make a surprise visit to Angel Investigations. However, when their inexplicably frightened daughter gets wind of their arrival, she flees the scene. Not trusting Mr. and Mrs. Burkle, the gang prepares to protect Fred from the--providing she can be found. Meanwhile, a strange, insectile demon stalks the crew.

BILLY
Angel's loyalty to his friends comes back to haunt them in this chilling episode, an unsettling blend of the series' usual horrors with the more realistic issue of violence against women. Angel and Cordelia both knew there would be consequences when he freed the partially demonic (but totally evil) Billy from a fiery prison in hell in order to save her. Those fears are realized when a wave of violence against women is traced back to Billy, whose mere touch has the power to bring out the worst in otherwise good men. The crew rushes to prevent another brutal attack, unaware that Wesley has already been infected---and he's alone in the hotel with Fred.

OFFSPRING
As the crew researches a prophecy predicting the imminent arrival of a being who may have a profound impact on the world, Darla arrives at the hotel---pregnant and angry, looking for the daddy. Cordelia, hurt by Angel's dishonesty, takes Darla's side in the matter. Baffled by how the pregnancy is even possible, Angel and company turn to the Host for some insight.

QUICKENING
Angel must do everything in his power to protect Darla and their unborn child when Wolfram & Hart launches a full attack to take mother and baby, in addition to a vampire cult who believe the baby is The Miracle Child.

LULLABY
Vampire hunter Holtz's rekindled crusade to wreak fiery vengeance upon Angel and Darla complicates the impending birth of the expecting couple's baby. With Darla's contractions getting closer together, even the Angel Investigations gang is surprised when she takes off without them for places unknown. Angel finds her, only to learn how truly conflicted Darla is with the fact that she, a demon, actually loves something: her child. Her heartbreaking fear is that once the foreign soul leaves her womb, she won't be able to love it anymore. As the crew seeks sanctuary at Caritas, Lilah discovers an ominous prophecy concerning the baby.

DAD
Still trying to figure out how to be a good father, Angel's problems multiply when he and the gang are trapped by several groups of enemies bent on kidnapping his son. Barricaded in the hotel, the group prepares for an inevitable attack. Meanwhile, Holtz goes about recruiting new help for his quest to destroy Angel.

BIRTHDAY
On her birthday, Cordelia's visions become so painful that they propel her into an astral state and a life-threatening coma. Visited by a demon guide, astral Cordy is mystically granted the opportunity to live her dream of a rich and famous actress if she is willing to give up her history with Angel and her visions.

PROVIDER
Unprepared for the flood of business brought in by advertising, the Angel Investigations crew splits up to cover more ground---and ends up being spread too thin for its own good. Also, Fred is offered big bucks to solve a demonic puzzle; Angel goes to work for a high-paying businessman; and Gunn and Wesley protect a woman whose zombie ex-boyfriend is stalking her.

WAITING IN THE WINGS
Angel takes the gang out for an evening at the ballet, but becomes suspicious when the prima ballerina is one he saw dance more than a century ago. When Angel and Cordelia sneak backstage to investigate, they find themselves consumed with an overwhelming passion for one another as the spirits of unrequited lovers take over.

COUPLET
Angel feels isolated, obsolete and even a bit jealous when Groosalugg arrives in town from Pylea, and immediately saves the gang in battle and is welcomed into the loving arms of his former princess, Cordelia.

LOYALTY
Wesley preoccupies himself with protecting Connor and foiling the prophecy about Angel and his son - he is given the three signs to look for before Angel devours his own son. When an earthquake shakes Los Angeles, all three signs come true. Meanwhile, Gunn and Fred investigate a purported vamp nest, unaware that the woman who hired them is one of Holtz's lackeys. Gunn and Fred also encounter a stumbling block in their burgeoning relationship.

SLEEP TIGHT
Angel's angry behavior and sudden cravings for human blood frighten Wesley enough for him to kidnap the baby to keep him safe. Unfortunately, Wesley's plan to protect Connor falls apart when Holtz takes the child for revenge against Angel. Angel begins to crave human blood because he's been unknowingly sampling the blood of his own son. Courtesy of Wolfram and Hart who've been tainting the vamp's usual supply with some of Connor's blood sample from the hospital.

FORGIVING
While Wesley remains alone in the park, bleeding to death, his friends question his motivations for betrayal and look into the one way to rescue Connor: materializing Sahjan. Angel is a man out for revenge to get back at Wesley for kidnapping Connor and turning him over to their enemies. While Fred and Gunn try to reason with him, Angel conjures dark magic and risks ripping right through the fabric of reality to find his lost son.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING
A deal Gunn made years ago where he offered his soul in trade comes back to haunt him in the form of a demon who comes to collect. Making matters worse, the demon wants to hold Fred until Gunn makes good on his deal. Cordelia finally returns with Groo and she does her best to offer sympathy to Angel, who's still unable to come to grips with the loss of Connor. Wesley, who survived, finds himself on his own in light of his actions that cost Angel his son.

THE PRICE
Angel must pay for using powerful dark magic in his failed attempt to bring back his son, and the hotel becomes infected with deadly slulike creatures who invade Fred's body, leaving Wesley as Gunn's only hope to turn to save her. Meanwhile, Cordelia experiences a new and shocking power and they learn of the coming of The Destroyer determined to kill Angel.

A NEW WORLD
Angel's son Connor is brought back from the Hell dimension a feral teenage warrior, and is hellbent on vengeance against his father for Angel's bloody past. When he fails, the confused teen escapes to the mean streets of L.A. Determined to set things straight, Angel searches for his son, who in the interim befriends a troubled but kind homeless girl. Meanwhile, the dimensional rift through which the young man traveled continues to cause trouble at the hotel.

BENEDICTION
Angel and Connor successfully engage in some much-needed father-son bonding when they find themselves fighting side-by-side. Then foster-father Holtz stirs things up by suggesting Connor should leave him to live with Angel. Meanwhile, Lilah continues to work on recruiting Wesley for the bad guys; and Cordelia's closeness with Angel causes a rift in her relationship with Groosalugg.

TOMORROW
The joyful reunion between Angel and his now teenage son Connor is short-lived when the enraged Connor comes seeking revenge against Angel for murder. Meanwhile, just at the moment when Cordelia and Angel are finally ready to face their feelings for each other, she is sent a message that it's time for her to leave this world and to move on to another. She is informed that she has become a higher power and must choose between Angel and going to a higher realm. She chooses what she knows is right and ascends to a higher realm. Angel meanwhile, has been captured by Connor and is being locked in a metal coffin. As Connor and Justine finish their work, Angel, inside his new coffin, is pushed off the side of a boat into the ocean.

DEEP DOWN
With Angel trapped on the ocean floor and Cordelia stuck on a mystical plane, Fred and Gunn are frustrated at the lack of clues regarding their friends' whereabouts, especially after the only eyewitness to Angel's disappearance is murdered. After Angel is rescued by the most unlikely person, the shocking reasons behind the mysterious disappearances become clear.

GROUND STATE
When Wesley advises Angel to visit Dinza, a dark "goddess of the lost" who has valuable information on how to find Cordelia, he learns that a certain mystical antiquity can locate souls across dimensions. Angel, Fred and Gunn break into an auction house to retrieve the object only to discover that an electrifying cat burglar has the same intentions.

THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS
Tired of dealing with Connor and looking for Cordelia, Angel decides to take Gunn and Fred on a road trip to Vegas to visit Lorne who is performing in a showcase at one of the casinos. They discover that Lorne is being coerced by the casino owner into stealing the "significant destinies" of audience members to sell on the black market. When the casino owner learns that Angel is destined to play a major role in the apocalypse, Cordelia must come to his aid from a distance to prevent his future from being stolen.

SLOUCHING TOWARD BETHLEHEM
Cordelia returns, but since she has no memory of who she is or that Angel is a vampire, everyone tries to keep their demon-hunting business a secret. After rescuing Cordelia from a demon, Connor takes on the role of her protector and Lorne reads Cordelia's future to help restore her memory but sees an approaching apocalypse involving Angel.

SUPERSYMMETRY
After Fred's physics article is published; she's invited to speak at a symposium where a portal opens, bringing her face to face with a demon and a dark secret about her old professor. Meanwhile, Angel tries to solve the mystery of the portal and why someone would want Fred out of the way.

SPIN THE BOTTLE
When Lorne performs a spell on Cordelia to restore her memory, it inadvertently causes the gang to revert back to their high school personas and leaves them with no memories of each other. Eventually, they discover that the only way to reverse the spell is to kill a vampire, just as Angel realizes that he is one.

APOCALYPSE, NOWISH
When Cordelia's apocalyptic nightmares become a reality, Angel, Wesley, Gunn and Lorne find themselves powerless against The Beast who has risen from the center of the Earth, bringing earthquakes and a rain of fire to Los Angeles. Bloodied and beaten, Angel and his friends realize that they may not be able to stop the impending doom.

HABEAS CORPSES
When Angel realizes that there may be some connection between Connor and the Beast, he learns that Connor is trapped within Wolfram & Hart where the building is under lock-down and the Beast is on a brutal killing spree. LONG DAY'S JOURNEY
When the gang learns that the answer to stopping the Beast is among them, everyone suspects Connor, until Cordelia begins to receive visions from the Powers That Be. AWAKENING

When the gang receives the disturbing news that The Beast is working for a much more powerful entity, they realize they must restore Angel's soul to revert the evil Angelus back to Angel.

When Angelus meets up with The Beast, he learns that the rain of fire, blacking out the sun and stealing Angel's soul was all part of The Beast's mysterious master plan to bring Angelus back. Meanwhile, Wesley releases vampire slayer Faith from prison to help capture Angelus.

LINEAGE
Wesley's father mysteriously shows up at Wolfram & Hart, while the gang has to deal with a group of robots who have come to take over Angel. How successful will this takeover mission be?

When another mysterious package arrives at Wolfram & Hart that recorporealizes Spike, the gang learns that the existence of two living ensouled vampire heroes has created chaos in the world. After Eve tells them about a prophecy that states that the only way to restore order is to find the Cup of Perpetual Torment that bestows human life, Angel and Spike battle it out for the ultimate prize. A series of flashbacks show the history of Angel and Spike and their relationship with Drusilla.

When an emotionally unstable woman, Dana, escapes from a psychiatric ward, Angel learns that she was tortured as a child and is now searching for her tormentor. Andrew, a watcher-in-training, arrives from Sunnydale with surprising information about Buffy and to inform the group that Dana is also a vampire slayer. Meanwhile, Spike believes that if he can save Dana, he will prove that he is destined to be the vampire champion.

Lawson, a mysterious man from Angel's past, arrives at Wolfram & Hart and takes the gang hostage. Through flashbacks to World War II, it is revealed that Angel worked with the U.S. Navy to recover a captured German submarine with American sailors on board. The ship also has a secret cargo, a dangerous trio of vampires, including Spike, who were kidnapped by the Germans and forced to help the Nazis. When a popular children's show begins to steal the life forces of children by hypnotizing them, Angel goes directly to the studio to uncover the evil doings. Upon entering the building, Angel triggers a spell that transforms him into a puppet. In a race against time, puppet-Angel and company must find a way to reverse the spell, save the lives of hundreds of children and return Angel to his normal vampire state. Meanwhile, Nina, the werewolf Angel befriended, returns to declare her romantic intentions, but puppet-Angel is too embarrassed to reciprocate.

When Illyria's powers become unstable and cause her to erratically jump through time, she learns that the gang intends to kill her. Upon returning to the present, Illyria plans to murder everyone before they're able to attack her. To save everyone's lives, Angel goes into the past with Illyria to alter the course of events.

Angel and Spike decide to take a trip to Rome, Italy when they learn that The Immortal, an enemy of theirs, is having relations with Buffy. While on their journey, they get caught up in a struggle between demon clan leaders.

POWER PLAY
The gang starts to have doubts about Angel's loyalties when he appears to have become very close with the Circle of the Black Thorn, an evil secret demon society. When Drogyn, the guardian of the deep well, makes a startling revelation, the gangs' fears that Angel has become evil seem to be validated.
