Atlantis was once home to a gargoyle clan whose history is largely lost to time. The city itself was a powerful and technologically advanced civilization, ruled by sorcery and science, before its catastrophic destruction in antiquity. Little is known of the Atlantean Gargoyle Clan, including their numbers, leadership, or relationship with Atlantean humans.

It is believed that the clan lived openly among the Atlanteans and served as guardians of the city, much as other ancient clans protected major cultural centers. When Atlantis fell beneath the sea, the fate of the gargoyles remains uncertain. They may have perished alongside the city, been turned to stone and shattered, or possibly escaped prior to the catastrophe.

No confirmed descendants or successor clan are known, and the Atlantean Gargoyle Clan is presumed extinct. However, given the many mysteries surrounding Atlantis, the possibility of survivors or relics connected to the clan cannot be entirely ruled out.
