Jackson was born in 1888. He was the twin brother of Fiona Canmore, father of Aron Canmore, the grandfather of Charles Canmore, and the great-grandfather of Jason, Robyn, and Jon Canmore.

He was a Hunter for most of his life. He fought Demona in 1910, and died, under unknown circumstances. His death drove Fiona Canmore to take up the hunt for "The Demon", as would his son, Aron Canmore.
