Angel
Angel is a vampire cursed with a soul, burdened by centuries of guilt for the atrocities he committed while soulless. He relocates to Los Angeles to seek redemption by helping the helpless, believing that acts of good can atone for his past. Forming Angel Investigations, he and his allies confront demons, corrupt corporations, and supernatural powers that exploit human suffering, most notably the law firm Wolfram & Hart, which serves as an earthly instrument of evil. As Angel battles external threats, he also wrestles with prophecy, moral compromise, and the question of whether true redemption is possible in a world where evil is systemic and often rewarded.
