Evan Treborn suffers from recurring blackouts during pivotal and often traumatic moments of his childhood, leaving disturbing gaps in his memory. As an adult, he discovers that by reading the journals he kept as a child, he can vividly relive these forgotten events and, unexpectedly, travel back to them to change his actions. What begins as an attempt to understand and repair his past soon becomes a supernatural power that reshapes his present in unpredictable and increasingly destructive ways, revealing the dangerous consequences of trying to control fate.
