The Princess Gina Story
Ernesto Toscano, once a close friend of Victor Kiriakis, became his bitter enemy. Driven by a thirst for revenge, Ernesto kidnapped Hope Williams Brady, the wife of Victor’s son, Bo Brady. He imprisoned her in a cage suspended above a vat of acid, forcing Bo into a desperate confrontation. Bo begged Ernesto to spare Hope’s life, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. After an emotional, tearful farewell between Bo and Hope, the cage suddenly exploded and plunged into the acid below. Hope disappeared without a trace and was presumed dead.
Stefano was believed to be dead; however, he was secretly hiding at his family’s plantation home, Maison Blanche, in New Orleans. He sent John a puzzle piece that triggered a series of memory flashes. Determined to uncover more, John insisted that Marlena hypnotize him. Under hypnosis, John recalled a plantation house, which led him to Maison Blanche in search of Stefano.
Unfortunately, it was a trap. John was captured, and Stefano lured Marlena to Maison Blanche using a recording of John’s voice, imprisoning her as well. Stefano attempted to take control of John’s mind once again, but with Marlena’s help, John resisted. In an effort to save him, Marlena seduced Stefano and drugged him. Before she could free John, Stefano’s henchwoman, Celeste, caught her and locked her up.
Kristen DiMera later organized a party at Maison Blanche. Bo Brady’s girlfriend, Billie Reed, spotted a woman who looked exactly like Hope Brady. She alerted the other guests, but no one believed her. Meanwhile, Celeste grew jealous of Stefano’s growing infatuation with Marlena and set the house on fire. John and Marlena managed to escape. John pursued Stefano, who fled with a drugged “Hope” in a rowboat. When “Hope” fell overboard, John rescued her, allowing Stefano to escape.
Bo was stunned when he saw “Hope” and brought her back to Salem. When she awakened, she revealed that she had amnesia. While Stefano and Celeste had been caring for her at Maison Blanche, they called her Gina. A DNA test was conducted to determine whether she was truly Hope, but the results were inconclusive. Over the following months, Bo tried to help her recover her memories.
On Stefano’s orders, Celeste secretly fed the sleeping Gina false memories of Hope and Bo’s past. Billie caught Celeste in the act one night, convincing Bo that Gina was not Hope. Only Alice Horton, Hope’s great-grandmother, truly believed that she was.
Bo and Billie were stunned when Gina used police-style tactics to fend off an attacker and capture a thug who had tried to sell drugs to Shawn Douglas. Afterward, Gina decided she wanted to become a police officer, just as Hope had been. Bo helped her prepare for the police academy exam. During this time, Gina recalled a memory from her life with Bo that was not in Celeste’s book, but Bo insisted that Hope was dead. Shortly afterward, Bo and Billie were married.
Gina later confided in Alice that she now believed she truly was Hope. She confronted Stefano, who claimed he had found her in a New Orleans hospital and brought her to Maison Blanche to care for her. Gina tracked down a hospital orderly, Bobby Lee, who confirmed that she had left behind a bracelet with her name engraved on it, but it had been destroyed. Months later, Bobby wrote a letter to someone in Salem revealing Gina’s true identity. Billie discovered the letter and, fearing she would lose Bo, chose not to tell Gina about it.
Gina eventually learned the truth and confronted Billie, who finally confessed that the letter stated the bracelet was inscribed, “To Hope, with all my love, Bo.” Overcome with guilt, Billie located a puzzle box that only Hope and Alice’s late husband, Tom Horton, had ever been able to open.
Alice and Gina were ecstatic when Gina successfully opened the puzzle box. Inside was a sealed letter Hope had written to Bo the night before their wedding. Bo began reading it, but Gina continued aloud, reciting the letter word for word without seeing it. Bo then compared Gina’s fingerprints to those on the letter, and they matched, proving beyond doubt that Gina was Hope.
Heartbroken, Billie watched as Bo embraced Hope. Although Bo initially insisted he would honor his marriage to Billie, Hope soon regained all of her memories. Realizing how deeply Bo and Hope belonged together, Billie chose to leave Salem.
Stefano allowed himself to be captured and sent to prison. Hope went to visit him, determined to find out why. When she entered the room, Stefano immediately called her Gina. She demanded to know why he had kept her hostage at Maison Blanche. Stefano replied that not many people are given a second chance and that she should be grateful.
Hope pressed him for the truth about the four years she could not remember. Had she discovered something that could destroy him? Stefano only laughed and told her not to fool herself. Soon after, his true plan was revealed: Roman Brady had been infected with a deadly virus that only Stefano could cure. Stefano agreed to retrieve the cure, but only if he were granted a full pardon for all of his past crimes. John and Kristen accompanied him.
After landing in the jungle, they discovered that Hope had secretly stowed away on the plane. The group traveled to a remote compound, where Hope recognized one of Stefano’s associates, Dr. Rolf, who pretended not to know her. Hope and John broke into Stefano’s shrine to Marlena, where Hope found a photograph of Maison Blanche that triggered memory flashes. She recalled being heavily bandaged, with Stefano standing over her at Maison Blanche after her recovery.
Before she could uncover anything more, Dr. Rolf completed the cure, and they returned to Salem just in time to save Roman. John apologized to Hope for failing to uncover additional answers about her past, but Hope vowed that one day she would learn the full truth, and make Stefano pay for everything he had done.
Determined to uncover the truth about her missing years, Hope went to see Stefano. He claimed that he had heard about a young woman who had been badly burned and, out of the goodness of his heart, paid for her plastic surgery before bringing her to Maison Blanche to recover. Unsatisfied, Hope then sought out Celeste, who gave her a box containing a lipstick, a silver comb, and a silver compact engraved with a “G”, the personal items she had used as Gina. Hope questioned why she would have owned such items if her face had supposedly been scarred for four years. Celeste urged her to abandon her search.
Undeterred, Hope went to the hospital where she had undergone surgery and met a patient who had been there at the same time. The woman told Hope that all she kept saying was that she had to get back to Bayou Dugar. Bo joined Hope, and the two traveled to the bayou, where they were attacked by a mysterious woman known as “Swamp Girl,” who stole Hope’s silver compact.
Meanwhile, John and Marlena flew to New Orleans for a vacation, during which they became engaged. While there, they visited the ruins of Maison Blanche and took a photograph of Hope. Back in Salem, John showed Hope the photo, which confirmed that Stefano had been lying, she had not been recovering at Maison Blanche for the entire four years. Hope later saw an image of the painting Garden at Twilight, which haunted her and triggered memories of a strange waltz. Later that week, Hope stunned everyone by sketching a portrait, revealing an artistic talent she had never possessed before.
John provided Hope with a lead on where the photograph of Gina had been taken. When Hope examined her silver comb more closely, she discovered an inscription that led her to believe her past was connected to Lugano, Switzerland. John and Hope agreed that their next step was to travel there.
Back in New Orleans, Bo continued searching for Swamp Girl. He eventually gained her trust, and she revealed that her name was Greta. She explained that she was an actress hired by Ernesto and had been the woman trapped in the cage suspended over the vat of acid. She had been told it was merely a magic trick: she was supposed to take Hope’s place and then escape. However, she was unable to get out of the cage and was horribly burned in the resulting explosion. Bo asked Greta to return to Salem with him.
Hope and John arrived in Lugano and followed their leads to the house shown in the photograph. There, the lady of the house, Lily Faversham, immediately recognized Hope as “Princess Gina.” Hope soon learned that Lily had been closely connected to the painting Garden at Twilight and intended to leave her entire estate to Princess Gina. After Hope explained her story, she agreed to accompany Lily to an art gala in Bulgaria, posing as Princess Gina.
Hope and Lily boarded the Empress Express, where Hope discovered she instinctively knew how to play baccarat. She also spoke with a plastic surgeon who assured her that there was no evidence she had ever been burned or undergone plastic surgery. Hope then unexpectedly ran into Stefano, who was furious that she was impersonating Gina. As the train’s guests began recounting stories of her life as Princess Gina, an explosion brought the train to a sudden halt, forcing everyone to evacuate.
Meanwhile, Stefano learned that his stolen masterpieces had been hidden beneath paintings inside Vivian Alamain’s townhouse. Vivian had inherited the property from Jonesy, the caregiver Stefano had hired to transfer everything into his name so nothing could be traced back to him. Stefano reminded Dr. Rolf that John and Hope’s memories were stored on a pair of CDs and declared that it was time to turn Hope back into Gina. Rolf warned that they would need to wait for the next lunar eclipse, but reassured Stefano that as long as John and Hope still had the microchips in their brains, their true memories were gone, and could not resurface unless he deliberately replanted them.
Hope and Bo compared notes, and Hope confided that she had felt a disturbing connection to Stefano on the train. She feared they might have been closer than she realized, but Bo reassured her that even without her memories, nothing romantic between them could ever have happened. Together, they concluded that Stefano had abducted Hope, erased her memories, and transformed her into Gina for reasons still unknown.
Hope later met Greta, who recognized Hope’s voice as Gina, her mother. When Hope heard the haunting waltz associated with Gina, she felt momentarily as though she truly was her. Drawn to a piano, Hope began playing the waltz flawlessly, revealing yet another skill she had never possessed before.
Hope invited Lily to Salem for Christmas. Soon after, Dr. Rolf informed Stefano that the satellite was nearly in position, though it could cause Hope to begin remembering her life as Gina. Those fears proved justified when Hope recalled running through the streets of Lugano and colliding with Stefano, who kissed her hand, called her “Gina, darling,” and promised he would always keep her safe. She also remembered their weekly opera dates.
Terrified that Hope would recover all of her memories before the transformation back into Gina was complete, Stefano ordered the kidnapping of Shawn Douglas, using him as a distraction to derail Hope’s growing recollections.
Stefano confronted Hope, who demanded to know what she had done for him as Gina. He claimed ignorance about her actions after she fled Maison Blanche. Bo interrupted and threw Stefano out. Meanwhile, Dr. Rolf warned Stefano that an approaching blizzard could disrupt the satellite signal and cause Hope to remember her entire life as Gina.
After Shawn-D was rescued, Hope visited Lily, who realized Hope was beginning to remember being Gina. When the satellite activated, Hope briefly reverted to Gina and recalled stealing Garden at Twilight, realizing she had once been an art thief working for Stefano. Shaken, Hope rushed to tell Bo but crashed her car on the ice. As she lay unconscious, Rolf urged Stefano to activate the microchip. Hope awoke flooded with memories of both Hope and Gina and was taken to the hospital.
Bo later proposed, but Hope refused, saying she couldn’t marry him until she understood her past. She confronted Stefano, claiming she remembered everything and that police were coming. When Stefano attacked her, she revealed she was actually Gina. She thanked him for freeing her from being Hope and wanted to return to Europe as Gina. Stefano agreed, but only after she secretly replaced the stolen paintings in Vivian’s townhouse with forgeries, requiring her to continue posing as Hope.
Gina admitted she missed her old life and remembered working with John. Stefano revealed John had never truly been a priest and that the two had once been partners, Gina stealing art, John smuggling it. Hoping John would someday remember their love, Gina continued the deception.
When Bo offered to help “Hope” uncover her past, she rejected him, citing his choice of Billie. Bo took Greta to Europe to search for answers, but Gina secretly followed, ensuring the truth remained hidden.
Disguised as Hope, Gina questioned Greta about Father John and learned she had helped him remember a waltz with Gina’s mother. Gina recreated the dress from that memory and danced with John at a party, deliberately triggering his feelings. Stefano caught her and warned her to stop acting like Gina before they were exposed.
John underwent hypnosis and began remembering Gina, including a compact he had given her. Gina arranged to retrieve the compact and used it to further stir John’s memories. She convinced him that Gina had been the love of his life and nearly succeeded in rekindling their romance, but John ultimately pulled away, reaffirming his love for Marlena. Gina vowed to make him love her again.
“Hope” ended things with Bo, confusing him, while Gina secretly tried, and failed, to convince Stefano to restore John’s old persona. John began recalling his past as Stefano’s pawn, prompting Stefano to order Rolf to reprogram him. Gina spiraled when John and Marlena announced their engagement. At Vivian’s party, Bo realized Gina had been forging art for Stefano, confirming she had become Princess Gina once more.
On John and Marlena’s honeymoon in Hawaii, Gina staged a drowning, abducted John, and demagnetized his chip, causing him to believe it was 1985. They reunited romantically until Stefano intervened, subdued John, and threatened Gina. Gina confessed she now carried both Hope’s and Gina’s memories, but Stefano was unmoved. John was thrown overboard and later found by Marlena, with no memory of anything after trying to rescue the “drowning” woman.
Gina returned to Paris and was shocked when Bo appeared at her door, determined to immerse himself in Princess Gina’s world. Though she mocked his chances, Bo surprised her by fitting in seamlessly at La Roulette, where Gina was recognized by society figures. Approved by a duke and duchess, Gina introduced Bo as her companion, and they were invited to a party in honor of her favorite painting, the last Renet. Afterward, Gina admitted Bo had handled himself remarkably well among royalty.
Meanwhile, Eric Brady and Greta arrived in Paris to uncover the truth about Greta’s mother. Along with Bo, they discovered a safe-deposit box containing cash, jewelry, fake passports for Gina and John, and deeds to Gina’s Paris home and a country château. Eric and Greta headed to the château, unaware that the real Princess Gina was imprisoned there. After suffering a breakdown when John was taken from her, she had been confined by Stefano and cared for by Kurt Schwengel. Gina escaped briefly, encountered Greta, and realized how much time had passed. She recalled Stefano arranging a procedure to stabilize her moods, one meant to seamlessly replace her with Hope Williams, a name she did not recognize.
Elsewhere, Stefano ordered “Gina” (Hope) to steal the last Renet, reminding her she was his creation and owed him obedience. Learning Bo was in Paris, Stefano used him as leverage, drugging and controlling him to prove his power. “Gina” secretly protected Bo by lying about the potion’s effects, with Bo arranging medical proof to support her claim.
Doug and Julie arrived in Paris to help Bo free Hope from Gina’s control. During moments of emotional connection, especially while dancing to Bo and Hope’s song, “Gina” began experiencing conflicting memories of her life with John and Hope’s life with Bo. Bo reassured her that Hope was still there and that their souls were reconnecting. Gina admitted she felt it too.
Finally, Bo urged “Gina” to play along with Stefano’s plan so he could arrest him once the painting was secured. When she confronted Stefano, he promised that once the theft was complete, she would finally be free to live her life as she chose.
Kurt learned there would be a ball in Princess Gina’s honor and agreed to take the real Gina, disguised as his mother, Countess Isla, so she could seek revenge on Stefano. At the ball, Gina was stunned when Hope arrived announced as Princess Gina. Gina warned the impostor that Stefano would destroy her. Meanwhile, Stefano had Bart kidnap Bo to keep him from interfering while “Gina” stole the last Renet. She replaced it with a forgery and confronted Stefano, demanding Bo’s safety and her freedom.
After seeing an apparition of Gina, Hope reverted to herself and conspired with the real Gina to stop Stefano. Gina revealed herself and told Hope that John was alive and married in Salem. When Hope insisted on telling Bo, Gina knocked her out and imprisoned her in the château turret. Gina then revealed herself to Stefano and set him on fire. Though he survived months later, Gina pushed him off a bridge.
Gina secretly underwent plastic surgery to restore her original appearance and went to Salem posing as Hope. The real Hope escaped the château, but Stefano, unaware of the switch, used the beam at full strength, erasing Hope’s memories and allowing Kurt to imprison her again. Hope eventually regained memories up to her transformation but remained captive.
Back in Salem, “Hope” told John she had closed the book on Princess Gina and intended to move forward as Hope Williams, choosing Bo since she could not have John. Pretending to cooperate with Marlena’s hypnosis, she tormented her by revealing that John had slept with Hope on their honeymoon. Gina later told Greta she was her mother and claimed Hope had died, saying she was posing as Hope to spare everyone pain. She tricked Stefano into returning to Paris and locked him up with the real Hope.
“Hope” and Bo grew close and made love at the Horton cabin. Though Bo sensed something was wrong, he proposed anyway and announced his engagement to “Hope” at the Horton Christmas party.
Despite widespread objections, “Hope” married Bo. During the reception, Shawn realized she wasn’t herself. When he confronted her, she pulled a gun and forced him over a ledge, then shot at Marlena. Bo struggled with her for the gun; it discharged, and “Hope” collapsed. Shawn survived, but “Hope” died days later after surgery. Greta later revealed it was her mother, not Hope, who had died, a claim confirmed by DNA.
Meanwhile, Rolf panicked when John recalled the submarine and removed his chip, but John still began recovering memories. He secretly took Marlena’s files on “Hope,” and though she caught him, she supported his search for the truth.
In France, Hope and Stefano attempted to escape captivity. Hope fell gravely ill and discovered she was pregnant. After she was bitten by a venomous spider, Stefano saved her, later realizing the child could be his or John’s. Stefano soon became ill with pneumonia.
Bo launched a search for Hope as much of Salem traveled to France. Rolf and Bart sabotaged the plane to test John’s memories. John recalled his mercenary training, defused and ejected a bomb, flew the plane after the pilots were incapacitated, and survived a crash into the ocean. Everyone reached a deserted island safely.
On the island, Gina’s body washed ashore. After rescue, the group returned to the château to bury her and search for Hope. During the burial, Gina’s casket mysteriously opened, her hand pointing toward the turret. Bo, John, and Marlena discovered the dungeon filled with stolen art. Hope and Stefano tried to signal them but accidentally started a fire. Bo and Shawn rescued Hope, and John saved Stefano to preserve the last link to his past. The château burned to the ground, destroying Stefano’s stolen artwork once and for all.
Hope’s pregnancy raised fears that Stefano might be the father, but DNA tests ruled out both Stefano and Bo. John later discovered he was the father and confessed to Hope, who begged him to keep it secret. Meanwhile, Stefano and Rolf orchestrated a baby switch at the hospital so Lexie could raise Hope and John’s child.
After Hope married Bo, she gave birth to John Thomas. Lexie discovered that the babies were switched and turned to Stefano for help, but he had to flee Salem to avoid police capture. Lexie became extremely paranoid, fearing she would lose her son. She forced Abe and Isaac to move into the DiMera mansion and used every DiMera trick to prevent Hope from discovering the truth. When Hope suggested that there might have been a baby switch at the hospital. Rolf encouraged Lexie to turn Hope back into Princess Gin to prevent her from investigating.
To silence Hope, Lexie reluctantly agreed to have Rolf turn her back into Princess Gina. She lured Hope to the DiMera mansion with a “Mother of the Year” party. As Rolf activated the device, Hope began remembering her life as Gina and begged John to save her. John intervened just as Rolf attempted to permanently erase Hope’s memories. Gina briefly emerged, kissed John, then Hope returned as Bo walked in.
Bo attacked John upon learning the truth, that John was J.T.’s father and Hope had hidden it. Though furious, Bo ultimately forgave Hope, recognizing that Stefano had manipulated both her and John at the time of the child’s conception.
The switch was eventually exposed. Hope and Bo were devastated when J.T. was returned to his biological father, Glen Reiber. Further DNA testing revealed that Rolf had falsified earlier results and that Bo, not John, was Isaac’s true father. Lexie kidnapped Isaac but was arrested, and Hope and Bo were granted custody.
Hope hosted a tribute honoring Tom and Alice Horton during the reopening of the town square. When Bo accidentally broke their commemorative plaque, he and Hope discovered a hidden key. Stefano revealed it matched a second key he possessed, leading to a safe-deposit box containing a shocking secret: Hope had been legally married to John Black during her time as Princess Gina, when John was Stefano’s pawn.
To obtain a divorce, Hope and John traveled alone to Alamainia, where Hope began regaining Gina's memories. Stefano kidnapped them and forced them to retrieve an Anastasia egg they had once stolen for him under mind control. Reprogrammed as Princess Gina and the Pawn, they recovered the egg but double-crossed Stefano. Seeing photos of Marlena and Bo restored them to John and Hope.
Inside the egg, they found a coded gold coin Stefano wanted. They swapped it with a fake, escaped with help from the ISA, and returned to Salem. By year’s end, Hope and John’s divorce was finalized.
In 2016, Hope shot and killed Stefano, believing he had murdered Bo. Three years later, Dr. Rolf returned to Salem and reactivated Princess Gina by implanting her memories into Hope. As Hope began acting out of character, drinking, smoking, and stealing Stefano’s portrait, Gina fully resurfaced. Rolf gave Gina all of Hope’s memories so she could convincingly pose as her.
To protect her secret, Gina pushed Jennifer off a balcony and framed Eve; Jennifer later awoke from a coma. Stefano soon returned as well, his memories implanted into Steve Johnson’s body, allowing him and Gina to conspire to break up John and Marlena so they could reclaim their respective loves. Gina moved in with John as “Hope” but was rejected when he reaffirmed his love for Marlena.
Abigail began investigating her mother’s fall and uncovered that the security footage had been altered, pointing back to Rolf. Meanwhile, Rafe grew suspicious of “Hope” after finding a tiara in Rolf’s loft with her fingerprints on it. Despite growing doubts, Gina and Stefano continued their deception, attending New Year’s Eve as “Hope” and “Steve.”
Suspicious of “Hope,” Rafe tried to investigate, but she attempted, and failed, to fire him. He called Shawn to Salem and explained Hope’s strange behavior, including secret smoking and flirting with John. When Shawn confronted her, her reaction convinced him that Hope had been replaced by Princess Gina.
Stefano then plotted to break up John and Marlena by making each believe the other was dead. “Hope” kidnapped Marlena, while Rolf staged a fake shooting to convince John that “Steve” had been killed. Gina and Stefano revealed themselves during the scheme, and Gina tried to seduce John. The plan unraveled when Marlena, Rafe, Roman, and Kate rescued John and Marlena, capturing Gina. Shawn pleaded with Gina, but she insisted Hope was gone forever.
Stefano later kidnapped Kayla and attempted to force Marlena to love him through Rolf’s procedure. John rescued Marlena, and Anna damaged Stefano’s eye during the chaos. John then forced Rolf to remove Gina’s memory chip from Hope’s brain, restoring her identity, while Kayla removed Stefano’s chip from Steve. Though wracked with guilt over their actions, Hope and Steve were eventually able to forgive themselves.
At the cemetery, Hope and Rafe ran into Dr. Rolf. Hope questioned how he could possibly have resurrected himself. With a smug grin, Rolf replied, “I knew I’d see you again, and this time, I came prepared.” He spoke into his watch, saying, “Activate satellite.” Hope immediately collapsed. Rafe caught her, demanding to know what Rolf had done.
When Hope awakened, she shoved Rafe away. “Do not touch me,” she snapped, “and above all, do not call me that horrid name, Hope.” A stunned Rafe demanded answers. Rolf beamed. “Detective Hernandez, may I introduce an old friend of mine? Her Royal Highness, Princess Gina.” Gina curtsied theatrically.
Rolf placed a stolen tiara on Gina’s head and explained who Rafe was. Gina appraised him coolly, calling him “a delicious specimen,” though she insisted her heart belonged to John. When Rafe tried to reach Hope inside her, Gina grew irritated and drew Hope’s gun when he grabbed her arm, ordering him to back away. Rafe insisted she wouldn’t shoot him because Hope wouldn’t allow it. Rolf scoffed, declaring that Gina took orders from no one but him.
Instead, Rolf produced a poison-laced orange lipstick and a protective antidote for Gina. He instructed her to kiss Rafe. Though she mocked the garish color, Gina complied and sat beside a bound Rafe as he pleaded for Hope to fight back. Gina hesitated, admitting she could feel Hope trying to surface, but she refused to let her.
Looking Rafe in the eyes, Gina whispered, “Goodnight, my sweet prince,” and kissed him. As Rafe lost consciousness, Gina was overwhelmed by memories and emotions, Hope’s love for Rafe, and Rafe’s love for Hope. Tearfully, she murmured, “He loved her… he loved me,” before finally snapping back into Hope. Horrified, Hope screamed at Rolf for what he had forced her to do.
Hattie awoke from a nightmare in the hospital, ranting to John about Marlena’s unstable patients. Soon after, Hope and Eli arrived with shocking news: Kristen had been found dead with “666” written on her forehead. Hope suspected “Marlena,” but Hattie denied any involvement.
At the DiMera mansion, Hattie struggled to impersonate Marlena while helping Abigail, who feared her DID had returned and questioned her baby’s paternity. Amid chaos, Abigail went into labor, and the baby was delivered, only for everyone to realize he bore Andre DiMera’s features. Dr. Rolf revealed Andre was alive again, restored by his experiments.
Hope later burst in claiming they knew Kristen’s killer, just as Rolf activated his satellite device and transformed Hope back into Princess Gina. Gina reappeared flamboyantly, flirted with John, clashed with Hattie, and declared her independence as a “princess of power,” before setting her sights elsewhere. Doug and Julie urged Rolf to stop tampering with Hope, and most of the group fled the mansion.
At the police station, Eli learned the truth: Kristen hadn’t died, Susan, dressed as Kristen for Halloween, had been murdered. Back at the mansion, Gina stole the spotlight as everyone gathered around the baby.
Meanwhile, at the pub, a demonic presence emerged. Anjelica Deveraux revealed herself as Satan, killed John, and possessed Hattie, only for Hattie to suddenly awaken back in the hospital. It was all revealed to be a Halloween nightmare.
