  • Constructed in 971, ruled by Prince Malcolm & later Princess Katharine
  • Gargoyles & humans coexisted their until 994
  • Vikings attacked the castle, destroyed most of the Gargoyles & abducted the humans
  • The surviving Gargoyles were put under a sleep spell & remained on the Castle
  • Purchased by Xanatos & moved atop the Eyrie Building in New York In 1994;
  • Gargoyles were awakened, left but eventually moved back in the Castle
