- 1995: Xanatos commissioned Dr. Anton Sevarius to create the Mutate;
- After leaving Xanatos’ employment, the Mutates moved into the Labyrinth
- 1996, Demona & Thailog had Sevarius clone several members of the Manhattan Clan
- When their creators abandoned them, Talon brought them into his clan
- They protect & shelter’s the homeless, outsiders, & misfits that live in the Labyrinth
- Eventually, they would become one of the founding clans of the Gargoyle Nation
