However, due to the damage, his connection to the Morphin Grid was unstable, which nearly killed him
The Coin was restored in 2007 by the Sentinel Knight with Adam Park as the wielder
Before joining S.P.A., Adam transferred the Mastodon Coin and powers back to Zack Taylor

10,000+ years ago: Rita Repulsa sent her servant Loriyan to steal the Dragon Power Coin from Ninjor
Loriyan successfully stole the Coin but betrayed Rita & attempted to keep it for himself
Loriyan used the Coin to become the Green Ranger but was unable to properly handle its immense power
Severely injured by the Coin's power, Loriyan was sealed with it inside the Temple of Repulsa on the planet Breel
Loriyan eventually died & the Dragon Power Coin remained hidden within the temple for thousands of years
More than 10,000 years later, Rita recovered the Coin after Zordon selected his new team of Power Rangers
The Coin was dormant & needed to be reactivated, so Rita used the spiritual energy of her mother, Fienna
Fienna's golden armor became part of the Coin's power & manifested as the Dragon Shield
Rita chose Tommy Oliver as the Coin's new wielder & placed him under a spell, turning him into her Evil Green Ranger
After the Rangers broke Rita's spell, Tommy kept the Dragon Power Coin & joined their team as the Green Ranger
Rita later used the magical Green Candle to drain Tommy's powers, forcing him to transfer the coin to to Jason Lee Scott
Jason temporarily possessed the Green Ranger's power, allowing him to use the Dragon Dagger & command Dragonzord
Zordon later sacrificed some of his own energy to temporarily restore Tommy's Green Ranger powers
Tommy continued as the Green Ranger until the restored power was eventually depleted
The Wizard of Deception later restored the Green Ranger powers for Tommy's magical duplicate, Tom Oliver
Years later, Tommy regained access to his Green Ranger powers through the Master Morpher
