• Must mentally imprint an animal's form before they can take its form
• Usually have a "go-to shift"
• Assume characteristics of their go-to shifts in their human form
• Skinwalkers can take other human forms; extremely dangerous

• Revert to human form if they lose consciousness
• Full moon, causes them to shift against their will

• Humans with the ability to physically assume the form of any animal
• Can't keep their clothes on when they transform
• If they kill another shifter from their own family, this risk becoming a Skinwalker
