He prophesied that this Traveler would bring great change to Earth
1989: Dr. Swann intercepted a transmission sent from Krypton before its explosion;
He founded Veritas to study, wait for & protect the Traveler
Swann used his own satellite company to detect possible invasions
Luthor was tasked with helping humans gain superpowers, started a project called Level 3
The Teagues' role was to track down & decipher Kryptonian symbols & artifacts
Lionel believed that they should not only protect the Traveler, but control him
Genevieve Teague continued her searched for the Stones of Power
Swann & Lionel both independently discovered the traveler’s identity, Clark Kent
By 2007 all members were dead, most having been murdered
