Andrew Clements was accidentally hit by Dr. Benjamin Jeffcoate's photon beam, which granted him the superpowers of invulnerability, super speed, and levitation. He used those abilities to fight crime, solve personal problems and to help others.

After being struck by the photon beam a second time, Andrew developed superhuman strength but lost his invulnerability.
