The user can telepathically read the minds of animals and communicate with them, they are also able to control the minds of animals to do their bidding. Advance users can link their minds with Animals, allowing them to "hitch-hike" animal senses and experience what happens as if they were them. This grants the user the ability to taste, feel, smell, see and/or hear from animal senses. It allows the user to experience the world as their target/companion would.
