The Batwing, sometimes called Batplane, was Batman's custom-built air combat vehicle. Batman once maintained aircraft in his original Batcave. However, launching these planes so close to Wayne Manor's neighboring estates threatened to compromise Batman's secret identity.

The craft was fully armed with mini-guns and missiles. The Batwing featured a grapple cable on the front for lifting heavy objects.
