Origin:
- The first Demon was created by Lucifer, to spite God;
- He took a human woman, Lilith, & stripped away her humanity
Description:
Demons tasked with "buying" souls for Hell through deals with humans
Summoning:
- Summoned by burying a box at the center of a crossroads during a new moon
- The box must contain graveyard dirt, a black cat bone, & a picture of the person making the deal
Highlights:
- Grant any wish in exchange for claiming their life & soul
- Deals made with humans are sealed with a kiss,
- Contracts are written invisibly on the skin of the person;
- Though formal contracts can be written up
- Terms of the contracts vary, usually given 10 years to live
- The person is killed by a hellhound at the end of the appointed period;
- Their soul is sent to Hell, & transformed into a demon
- Demons have control over their deals, can rescind them anytime
- In 2020, the new Queen Rowena ordered that no more deals were to be made
