- Elders hid all their secrets, power & knowledge within Castle Grayskull
- The Snake Men, led by King Hiss, wage long wars against them;
- It forced political unification & the creation of a centralized monarchy
- After the defeat of the Snake Men, dimensional instability allows new threats to emerge;
- The Evil Horde, led by Hordak, arrived on Eternia & tried to conquer them
- Castle Grayskull remained a constant focal point of fear & reverence;
- Its magic protected them & shaped their belief systems
- He-Man was Eternia's champion, battled with Skeletor & his evil warriors
- The Horde was defeated, due to the royal guards & the magic of Castle Grayskull
- Hordak kidnapped baby Princess Adora & escaped to Etheria
- Skeletor rose as a major threat, seeking to seize the power of Castle Grayskull
- Prince Adam was chosen as the champion of Grayskull, gained the Power Sword;
- It allowed him to transform into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe
- He often battled with Skeletor & his evil warriors, defending Eternia
