The Fire Ring is one of 5 magic rings created by Gaia to help defend the planet. It was sent to Wheeler in North America. The Fire Ring is activated when the holder says "Fire".

It gives its holder command over the element of Fire to a limited degree, can instantly ignite, heat, melt, or weld targeted surfaces and objects. It can also shoot laser like fire beams that usually incinerates anything it comes into contact with, conjure streams of flames similar to a flamethrower, and be used as a light in dark areas.

Like the other rings, the Fire Ring will not activate if: Captain Planet has been summoned, the ring has come in contact with pollution, pollution level in proximity is high, or if the user's mind is polluted.

It is always the second ring used in the process of summoning Captain Planet.
