Physiology:

- Appearance varies from clan to clan
- Extremely strong claws
- A pair of wings used for gliding;
- Turn to stone at sunrise and will remain as such until nightfall;
- White iris, black pupil
- Male eyes glow white when in an excited stage, female’s glow red
- Female lay eggs, 3 in their lifetime, incubate for 10 years before hatching

Wings:

- Bat-like with the digits dividing the wing membrane into multiple segments
- Pterodactyl-like with one continuous membrane & a small hand atop
- Web-like in the manner of a flying squirrel
- Some have feathers
- All types of wings could fold onto the body

Stone Sleep:

- Natural phenomenon causes them to turn to "stone" in the daytime
- When awakens turns to flesh & blood from the inside out;
- Finally shattering a thin layer of stone over themselves
- Last from dawn to sunset, could be delayed when experiencing Jet lag
- Heal from their wounds, toxins & sickness, unless damage is too severe
- Extreme damage done during stone sleep will result in death
- "Spell of Humility" turns their clothes & personal items to stone as well
