- 22,000 B.C.: Arose as predators on P3X-888, took Unas as hosts;
- Apep brutally murdered his father, united & ruled the Goa'uld
- 17,500 B.C.: Anubis forcibly removed Apep's symbiote & devoured it, became the ruler
- 17,400 B.C.: Ra led the others against Anubis, defeated him & became the new ruler
- 16,000 B.C.: Ra created the System Lords, appointed himself as Supreme System Lord
- 8,000 BC: Ra discovered Earth & was the first to use a human as a host;
- He allowed each System Lord to claim Tau'ri followers & take them to their world

- 1996: Ra is killed by the Tau'ri, the balance of power was forever altered

- 2002: Most of the System Lords were killed by Replicators or during the Jaffa rebellion
- 2008: Ba'al, the last remaining System Lord, was killed by the Tau’ri, ending the Empire
