- It can sense the presence of any animal
- Can summon them for help and read their thoughts
- It can influence the decisions of people & animals
- Can expose the true identity of disguised persons
- Makes the owner immune to mind control

Limits:

- Would not activate when it came in contact with pollution
- Could not communicate with other ring holders if that holder was unconscious
- No effect on extremely evil humans such as the Eco-Villains
