• Hybrids combine the traits of vampires and werewolves
• Klaus or Tribrid blood must be used to create them

• They normally look human
• Werewolf traits can include yellow eyes, black sclera and longer fangs
• They drink blood, have the fangs & feeding instincts of vampires

• Super strength, speed, agility, senses and durability
• Fast healing
• Immortality & do not age
• Can compel minds using vampire powers
• Can suppress their emotions or humanity
• Can walk in daylight
• Can control their werewolf transformation
• Werewolf bite is deadly to ordinary vampires
• Wooden stakes can disable hybrids but do not permanently kill them

• A broken neck temporarily kills them
• Lack of blood or a stopped heart can desiccate them
• They need an invitation to enter a human-owned home
• Vervain burns and weakens them and blocks compulsion
• Wolfsbane burns and weakens their werewolf side
• Magic can injure, restrain or desiccate them
• Decapitation kills non-Original hybrids
• Removing the heart kills non-Original hybrids
• The Cure removes vampirism and leaves them mortal werewolves
