The microtorpedo was a smaller sized Photon Torpedo, utilized by Starfleet in the late 24th century.

They were 13.3cm long, warp-capable tactical matter/antimatter weapons designed for use on Danube-class runabouts. These torperdoes were fired from a special extendable launcher tube built into the sensor pallet just beneath the cockpit of runabouts.

Other auxiliary crafts, such as the Aeroshuttle and the Condor Class Maquis Raiders, were also equipped with them.
