- In 1920, Gizmo was accidentally separated from the others & ended up in America
- Two Gremlin outbreaks happend in the late 90s

Physiology:

- Small mammalian creatures
- Wide heads
- Large bat-like ears
- Large pupils
- Covered in fur, patches of white, black, brown or gray
- Getting wet spawns small balls of fur that grow rapidly into adults
- Bright light inflicts pain, direct sunlight burns & kills them
- Eating after midnight transforms them into Gremlins
