A phaser cannon was a type of directed energy cannon weapon, a powerful phaser bank, used by Starfleet and other species.

They were classified as an optronically targeted phaser. The four cannons of the Defiant-class would usually fire phaser bolts simultaneously in short rapid-fire bursts and in only one direction.
