The Photon Cutlass was a weapon which consisted of a plasma blade that was emitted from a metal hilt and could be shut off at will. The blade had three power settings; it acted as a normal sword when it glowed white, could stun a target when it glowed blue and was able to cut through any substance when it glowed red.

The Photon Cutlass belonged to the man known as the Falcon, a legend amongst seafaring beings on the planet Etheria, and Sea Hawk’s father. When Sea Hawk found him in the Enchanted Grotto, Falcon bestowed the Photon Cutlass to his son.
