The Sands of Time is a desert that spans Eternia's Light and Dark Hemispheres. It is bordered by the Evergreen Forest in the west, the Sea of Rakash in the north, and the Harmony Sea in the south.

It was once a vast, blooming garden that was home to skilled craftsmen and monument builders, but ruins are the only remaining evidence that such a civilization existed. Now, the whirlwinds that sweep across the barren desert can cause fearsome sandstorms or create vortexes that will draw in unwary travelers and send them back in time. The House of Darkness and the Temple of the Sun can be found there as well.
