Snake Men vs King Grayskull

Date: Ancients Times

In the Age Before Ages, when Eternia was still raw with magic, the Snake Men rose from the deep past under the rule of the immortal King Hiss. Their dominion spread through sorcery, venom, and mastery of the mind. Cities fell without siege, armies turned on their own banners, and even kings ruled unknowingly as puppets. By the time open war began, Eternia was already half ensnared.

Against them stood King Grayskull, first champion of the Power of Grayskull and the greatest warrior of his age. Where others relied on armies or spells alone, Grayskull embodied balance between strength and magic. The Snake Men could cloud minds and corrupt blood, but they could not bend him. His presence shattered enchantments, and his blade and power drove the Snake Men into battles they were never meant to fight openly.

The war ended not with annihilation, but with binding. Knowing King Hiss could not be killed, King Grayskull sealed him and his legions away through ancient magic, anchoring the prison to what would become Castle Grayskull itself. The victory cost Grayskull his life, but saved Eternia from eternal enslavement. Eternian legend holds that the castle does not merely guard power, it remembers why that power must never fall. Should the Snake Men ever return, it is said they will not face a kingdom, but the echo of the king who defeated them once.
