The user can absorb sound and convert it into various forms of light. Left undirected, the users light would radiate from their body in all directions, producing regular flashes of white light. By conscious control users can control its direction, frequency (color), amplitude (intensity), and duration.
This ability can be used as a distraction, temporarily blind people, can generate a coherent beam of light, approximating a laser beam, generate a shield from laser energy that can deflect projectiles or energy beams. Advance users can even create holograms of human beings and other three-dimensional beings and objects.
