Killed during a mission, sent to Hell because of his life as an assassin
Agreed to become a Hellspawn in exchange for being allowed to see his wife one last time
Returned to Earth with little memory, a badly disfigured body & magical powers
Used his powers to atone for his past sins, fought to protect the innocent;
