2000: Began reluctantly helping the Scooby Gang since he could still hurt demons
Successfully underwent the Demon Trials & regained his soul
Years later the chip malfunctioned & was removed
2003: Sacrificed his life during the Battle at the Hellmouth
2004: Resurrected as an incorporeal being, later became corporeal again;
Worked with Angel Investigations, helping fight the Senior Partners’ forces
