Werewolf

Origin:

- Lycaon, king of Arcadia was opposed to the gods of Olympus
- Invited Zeus, the king of Olympus, to a banquet & served him human flesh
- That angered Zeus so much; he cursed Lycaon & his fifty sons;
- Forcing them to transform into wolves
- Sought out druids for a cure, wasn't possible
- They taught them to shift back & forth between human & wolf form

Description:

Supernatural beings that can turn into humanoid wolf creatures

Highlights:

- Majority of Werewolves belong to a pack
- Believe that their lycanthropy binds them all together as a family

Becoming a Werewolf:

- The bit of an alpha Wolf
- Genetically through their parents

Alpha:

- Typically the leaders of their respective packs
- Only Werewolves who can turn a human into a Werewolf
- Becoming an Alpha: By killing one or sheer force of will

Beta:

- Belong to a pack & are one rank below an Alpha Werewolf
- Usually loyal to their Alphas & to each other

Omega:

- Werewolves who do not belong to a pack
- Also known as "lone wolves,"
- Weakest & extremely vulnerable to Hunters and other creatures

Physiology:

- Has two forms: Human & human-wolf hybrid
- Brow ridge
- Side burns
- Lengthened pointed ears
- Claws & Fangs
- Eyes glow: Golden Yellow (Never killed) Blue (Killed innocent life), Red (Alpha)

Abilities:

- Enhanced Physiology
- Healing Factor
- Pain Absorption
- Animal Instincts
- Some are able to shift into a full wolf form, but this is extremely rare

Weaknesses:

- Mountain Ash
- Without training, overcome with a rabid anger during a full moon
- During a lunar eclipse, they lose all of their powers
