  • Wyvern, the dragon, brought the gargoyles to the region in order to act as protectors
  • They established themselves as a clan upon Wyvern Hill, slept upon the cliff itself
  • 971: formed an alliance with Prince Malcolm, he built a castle on Wyvern Hill,
  • They would protect the castle at night, the humans protected them during the day
  • For two decades, the alliance between the humans and gargoyles remained strong
  • After the Prince died, Princess Katharine’s hatred of the Gargoyles caused tension
  • 994: "Angel" & Robbie formed a plan to rid the Castle of all the humans;
  • Hakon destroyed most of the clan, The Captain of the Guards was unable to stop him
  • 6 survived, they were placed under a spell by the Magus, became the Manhattan Clan
