Origin:

Human being brought back from the dead, by forbidden arts or dark magic

Description:

Reanimated deceased human bodies

Highlights:

- Can be controlled by a Necromancer
- Crave human flesh & are attracted to blood
- Tend to walk without end

Reproduction:

- Infection is transmitted through fluid contact, generally via bite
- Once infected, the person gets a fever, becomes disoriented & eventually dies
- Shortly after they are reanimated into a zombie

Anatomy:

- Decaying human corpse
- The brain maintains limited abilities of the body,
- Limited movement of the limbs

Abilities:

- Not immortal, will not "die" under typical conditions
- Do not feel or respond to pain
- Can survive even the most brutal injuries

Weaknesses:

- Cannot heal injuries
- Even when decapitated, the head will remain active
- Destroying the brain killed them
